Principal duties & responsibilities
- To provide a high-quality service while working with all steakholders including family members and the participant, with the focus being the participant being at the centre of their supports and involved in decisions to achieve the best outcomes and reaching goals.
- To respect the personal choice or lifestyles of Carers, people with care needs and colleagues, ensuring that equal opportunities principles are always applied.
- To work within Health and Safety Regulations
- It is imperative that confidentiality is always respected
- Good time management
Role Requirements
- Support workers are required to have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in Disability, Mental health or social work, training will be supplied if need be.
- All relevant screening (Checks Police Checks, Working with children check (WWCC), NDIS worker Screening checks.
- Drivers Licence and Reliable car not essential but preferred.
- Willingness to attend all training provided by Key Support Services or with a registered training facility.
- Relevant qualifications and training for allied health professionals and support coordinators
